Senior Manager, Application Development & Support
About the Role
Conduent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager & Application Development & Support individual to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of key components within our organization. The Senior Manger will require broad technical and industry knowledge and will be accountable for functional and operational planning and / or program management. In addition, they will manage training of 3 or more employees and be responsible for performance appraisals, reviews and hiring and termination actions.
Responsibilities
Manages the software development function.
Provides input and implements business plans, policies, and procedures.
Collaborates with other departments to prioritize software development needs.
Evaluates results within work areas to determine if organizational goals are being met.
Analyzes and resolves development issues related to full life cycle of the software.
Manages the activities of first level managers, supervisors and / or individual contributors.
Manages hiring and termination actions, performance appraisals, and pay reviews.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.
Requires a comprehensive understanding of concepts within own field and knowledge of others.
Applies in depth knowledge of payment card area and business expertise.
Impacts results of a business unit, major operational segment, or companywide subfunction.
Guided by functional plans.
Manages multiple related teams, sets priorities, and allocates resources.
Proactively manages resources to meet department goals.
Evaluates key business challenges.
Directs the development of new innovative solutions.
Uses clear communication skills to influence others, including senior leadership.
Requirements
Requires a comprehensive understanding of PCI standards.
Requires a comprehensive understanding of Financial Transaction delivery via MasterCard.
Requires a comprehensive understanding of concepts within own field and knowledge of others.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $ 114,730 – 149,000
