Job Overview

We are looking for a Transformation PMO Leader who will be part of Conduent Technology Services organization and will drive our Transformation PMO Charter . The ideal candidate will be an outstanding leader who can leverage their thought leadership and product vision to help lead and grow the team. The successful candidate must have exceptional problem solving skills, strong business judgment, and demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams. This role requires excellent technical acumen and internal/external client facing tact!

This role will be responsible for the following responsibilities.


  • Leads the leadership team to rationalize, modernize and consolidate CTS platform strategy while simplifying the supply chain.

  • Defines, tracks and manages IT leadership accountability aligned to Conduent business partners as well as Conduent at-large.

  • Single Point of Contact for all inquiries and information for the Conduent Technology Services Organization.

  • Ensures operational oversight, risk mitigation, governance and compliance for CTS.

  • Liaison with business leaders and senior management teams within CTS.

  • Facilitates strategic planning on behalf of the organization, aligning to the CTS growth plan.

  • Develop strategic business partnerships both internally and externally.

  • Ensures success of mission critical project support, escalations, solution approach and recommendations.

  • Defines and implements corporate directives.

  • Assists in assuring compliance in the company‚Äôs operations and provides guidance or oversight to others related to specific areas of expertise.

  • Meets information architecture cost standards by monitoring expenses; implementing cost-saving actions.

  • Assists with highly sensitive or complex projects critical to the organization.

  • Defines the operational priorities for the transformation office.

  • Single-mindedly drive the organization forward and hold accountable those responsible for the hundreds (even thousands) of daily actions and initiatives that underlie a typical program

  • Inspire leaders and associates and act as role models for the sort of behavior needed to encourage and embed change.

  • Drive complex process within CTS that involves large numbers of discrete initiatives. Responsibility for making the day-to-day decisions and implementing those initiatives with leadership support.

  • Act as the face of digital transformation, set the tone, spur enthusiasm, and challenge status-quo. Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will at least have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering). Masters degree is highly desired.

  • Minimum 15 years of industry experience in technology delivery/execution, project and program management including at least of 8 years of technology management experience and at least 5 years in distributed systems and/or process optimization space

  • Deep knowledge and experience with distributed systems design and development.

  • Understanding of technology domain, industry trends and future state technologies and their applicability to different areas of business

  • Proven track record of strong verbal/written communication & system solutioning skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams across the world

  • Affinity for science and the scientific discovery process

  • Good technical comprehension and excellent communication skills. Experience communicating with highly technical requirements, and translating highly technical topics to business teams.

  • Experience with design thinking, innovation lifecycle of software development (prototyping, ethnography, fail early etc.).

  • Experience, desire and comfort to build and work with teams located across many locations

  • Ability to quickly learn new technology domains and interact in a rich way with the research and engineering communities in addition to lines of business.

  • Strong oral communication skills including ability to make presentations and prospect with clients

  • Strong analytical skills, computer skills and excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team with limited supervision

  • Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills

  • Ability to travel (up to 50%) may be required

  • Proven program management skill set

  • Results driven with a positive attitude
