About the Role

The Senior Delivery Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects and programs within the organization. This role involves overseeing multiple projects, coordinating resources, managing budgets, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives. Acts as a liaison between various stakeholders, including clients, project teams, and senior management, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. The Senior Delivery manager will have overall responsibility for day-to-day management and will be the primary point of contact with the client.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of projects and programs, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Coordinate with project teams to allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal project performance.

  • Lead the program from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer stakeholders, Conduent program management team, and technical resources.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and executive leadership, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful delivery.

  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources to meet project objectives within budget constraints.

  • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and organizational standards.

  • Implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and minimize resistance during project implementation.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements within project management practices, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Prepare regular project status reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and challenges.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment focused on achieving project objectives.

  • Pursue organic and profitable revenue via new business and through deepening relationships with existing clients to optimize growth by identifying, pursuing, and capturing add-on, new capability, and cross-selling opportunities whilst continually driving continuous development.

  • Manage an existing Transportation client with annual revenue of over £10 million and act as liaison between cross-functional internal teams whilst ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Lead as representative of “One Conduent”, by influencing actions and decisions that positively impact revenue, delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction.

  • Achieve business goals through the effective management of internal and external teams, either directly or through the organizations matrix by focusing on the resolution of complex challenges.

  • Line Manager responsibilities for 3 Senior Managers across various sectors, including BA, R&C and QA, through performance appraisals as well as providing support and mentorship to team. members.

  • Play a key role in the strategic development of the client and assume overall responsibility for the management of Change Request between the Company and client.

  • Oversee the successful completion/update of all DMV agreements and collection agencies contracts.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Business Management or related subject, Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred or equivalent experience

  • Substantial experience managing projects or programs in one or more of the following sectors; Customer Experience (CxM), Payment Solutions, Transportation, Government Service

  • A proven track record of effectively managing clients with revenue of over $10 million

  • Substantial experience selling and managing relationship at C-suite level

  • Experience of retaining existing client revenue and growing new revenue

  • Ability to work through complex challenges whilst consistently fulfilling SLA and KPI requirements

  • Experience managing through a matrix organization

  • Able to demonstrate organizational, multi-tasking, and interpersonal communication skills along with proven negotiation and client relationships skills.

  • Play a key role in the strategic development of the client and assume overall responsibility for the management of Change Request between the Company and client

  • Able to demonstrate advanced skills in MS Office products (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word)·

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $110,880- $144,000.
