Position Summary:

The leader in this role will serve as the industry expert for Communications, Media and Entertainment. Will use specific and unique insight as to the challenges Communications, Media and Entertainment companies face in managing their day to day business (customer acquisitions, customer retention, cost cutting initiatives, mergers and acquisitions of competitive or complementary services, etc.). They will use their personal industry experience and knowledge, supplemented by additional industry research, client relationships, focus groups and test scenarios, to help define, craft and package Conduent’s Communications, Media and Entertainment Industry specific offerings and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

The Portfolio Manager – Communications, Media and Entertainment industry – is an individual contributor that will:

  • Design, develop and gain executive sponsorship for strategic and specific offerings for Communications, Media and Entertainment clients to assist with transforming and optimizing their business.

  • Research and educate on Industry Trends both internally and externally by assisting Client Partners and Account Managers with their accounts.

  • Optimize action plans for 1 initiatives by driving sales organization, leadership and strategic direction on opportunities.

  • Develop New Logo Roadmap with tier 1, 2, and 3 level clients with specific deliverables and key milestone objectives.

  • Assist GM in driving accountability for strategic growth goals within the Communications Media and Entertainment sectors

  • Manage and grow existing business in a number of assigned accounts.

  • Drive new business opportunities within assigned accounts by selling the portfolio of Conduent’s services through travel for face-to-face client meetings.

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the client’s business and introduce solutions from Conduent’s collective portfolio to address current or anticipated needs. (Proven experience creating value for clients.)

  • Develop and maintain business relationships with senior level executives.

  • Champion internal collaboration and coordinate resources necessary to execute on the identified client strategy.

  • Support all stages of the sales process, ultimately achieving or exceeding identified sales targets.

  • Participate in Account Planning activities and Quarterly Business Reviews. Act as a steward for good business.

  • Maintain accurate Account detail in CRM (Salesforce.com) including keeping client contacts up-to-date, activities, opportunities and all documents relating to opportunities.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Proven Communications, Media and Entertainment industry subject matter expertise.

  • 10 years of proven experience in Communications, Media and Entertainment industry.

  • Strong understanding of BPO solution selling.

  • Aggressive seller who is able to forge relationships with C-suite executives as well as key line of business contacts.

  • Skilled in account strategy, account planning and relationship strategy.

  • Experience working closely with service delivery counterparts.

  • Proven track record of significantly growing existing accounts.

  • Proven track record of attaining and exceeding quotas.

  • Strong business analytical skills, relationship management and collaboration skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.

  • Possess excellent oral and written communications, including the ability to effectively present information to top management and executives (internally and externally) as required.

**Incumbent must be able to travel 25-50% based on business needs.
