Bill Processing Associate Remote
Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm CST
What you will be doing:
Conduent is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Bill Processing Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing bills and invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and contributing to the efficient operation of our billing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary contact between the client and bill review.
Receive and review bills and invoices from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Enter bill data into company systems accurately and efficiently.
Manage hold groups including Claim Verification, Provider Verification, Client Contact, and potentially NAR approval based on client requirements.
Provide accurate and timely responses to client inquiries regarding bill reviews, escalating complex or uncertain issues to appropriate channels for resolution.
Initiate contact with healthcare providers to obtain any missing State Reporting data as requested.
Identify and report any bill review issues or concerns raised by clients to the management team for review and resolution, contributing to continuous process improvement efforts.
Support the billing team by assisting in processing bills during periods of increased workload or backlog, ensuring timely and accurate completion to meet client expectations.

Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Must have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
Must be able to work Saturdays.
People who succeed in this role have:
Previous working experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and some data entry.
Ability to perform repetitive and physical movements throughout work shift.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Effective and accurate written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of Medical, Hospital and Dental insurance Claims is preferred.
Strong work ethic.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary for this role is $16.81/h.
