Position Responsibilities

Provides desk top support for the technical infrastructure of the company, and provides support and technical services aimed at managing databases and/or systems as well database utilities. Ensures close customer liaison both internally and externally with managed vendors. Provides first level technical or database problem resolution to customers/end users in a technical help desk function. Resolves first level systems failures. Escalates complex technical/database problems to field staff and technical specialists as appropriate.

Primary Duties:

  • Responsible for the database control and/or end user support of IT systems

  • Imports data from various sources into SQL Server.

  • Works as a team member in a team of 4 to 5 in Data Processing dept.

  • Works on ticket from Jira help desk app.

  • On Call Weekend work required -team rotation cycle.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience in IT field

  • 1 years’ experiences of first level infrastructure desk top support

  • 5 years’ experience with SQL Server database

Preferred Requirements:

  • 3 years’ experiences of first level infrastructure desk top support

  • 1 years’ experience with healthcare systems/data

  • 5 years’ experience with SQL queries including T-SQL coding

  • 2 year degree in IT or related field

Desired Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experiences of first level infrastructure desk top support

  • 5 years’ experience with SQL Server T-SQL coding

  • 1 years’ experience with Jira Help Desk solution

  • 3 years’ experience in healthcare systems/data

  • 4 year Degree in computer, MIS, CS or related field
