Will need a strong understanding of Infrastructure Architecture and networking/engineering willing to not have team members reporting into them since it's a full technical position. The role is diverse with lots of opportunity and growth.

Responsibilities:
Analyze existing systems to ensure security and efficacy.
Responsible for designing and implementing network systems to meet the business needs of an organization.
Maintain and upgrade software, hardware, and networks as needed to ensure systems/platforms are not at end of life.
Recommend improvements or alternative technologies to better meet business needs.
Design, review and integrate new systems.
Have extensive knowledge in cloud computing.
Be able to troubleshoot and debug support for cloud projects.
Working in collaboration with IT, operations, and other teams, develop strategies and action plans for implementing upgrades and integrations. actionable deployment plans for infrastructure initiatives that lower risk and increase speed to deploy.
Outline evaluation benchmarks for future assessments. Support and affect governance infrastructure processes including prioritization against competing business units.
Provide ongoing support and advice to ensure the infrastructure continues to support fluctuating demands.
Provide credible infrastructure logistical oversight, and leverage key roles across the enterprise such as analysts, engineers, and data scientists to continuously improve delivery.
Provide strategies to improve the existing infrastructure systems of the organization.
Create plans for procurement and setting up of infrastructures.
Provide solutions to complex problems occurring in network programs and projects.
Ensure disaster preparedness; secure backup and recovery methods to protect against system disruptions.
Ensure adoption of best practices from top-down
The Infrastructure Engineer we seek should have:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a related field.
6+ years in infrastructure management
Proficient with infrastructure architecture and network management.
Experience in large corporate environments involving multi-functional and diverse customers.
Experience effectively facilitating and driving organizational change.
Highly motivated, collaborative, works effectively under minimal supervision and places priority on the successful completion of team goals.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English with infrastructure domain expertise to communicate effectively with various partners.
Infrastructure, Cloud and Software Engineering technology environment experience and experience operating in a regulated environment.
Knowledge of networking concepts, cloud computing and principles
