Pro*C/SQL Developer
About the Role
As the Pro*C/SQL Developer you will be responsible for analysis, design, coding, integration, testing & maintenance of software modules. These software modules are used in the tolling back-office system.
Responsibilities
Designing, developing, and maintaining complex software programs
Working collaboratively with other members of the project team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality delivery enterprise applications
Consulting with other solution architects, system support teams, database administrators and application teams.
Planning and estimating development work needed to implement assigned tasks
Transforming complex requirements into working, maintainable enterprise-level solutions
Performing detailed application design as appropriate
Authoring and maintaining design and technical documentation necessary
Providing leadership to other team members to deliver high quality systems on schedule
Requirements
6+ years' experience in Pro*C, PL/SQL.
3-5 years' experience with database driven, multi-tier software development using at least one major database (Oracle preferred)
Analyze the Business requirement Documents and convert them into technical specification documents and high level design documents.
Involve in all phases after requirement gathering including creating specifications, development of database objects, developing code and validation programs
Create PLSQL stored program units such as Procedures, functions, packages and triggers in database for Oracle 11g/19c and tune them for performance using TOAD, PLSQL Developer, SQL Plus
Develop Pro*C batch programs with embedded SQL’s, PLSQL Procedure calls and Dynamic SQL.
Develop, enhance, and fix processes developed in C to ensure proper integration with SQL code in UNIX environment as necessary.
Use SQL*Loader to upload bulk data into database from external files.
Develop complex queries to generate Adhoc reports on the fly according to the client requirements.
Coordinate with Crystal reports team and suggest changes according the modification’s done on the underlying data objects.
Develop various reports including master detail reports with multilevel grouping.
Develop and modify UNIX shell scripts and batch scripts to automate Jobs using CA work load automation.
Troubleshoot batch failures, perform Defect Analysis and Work on bug fixes.
Develop UNIX shell scripts to generate automated Alert Emails about job status.
Write test plans for unit testing and work with configuration management team for proper deployment in DEV, QA and Production environments.
Perform peer reviews, work with QA/Testing team to resolve the issues to ensure it passes the UAT.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $105,875 – 137,500.
