Active Directory Engineer II
Supporting the on-premise Active Directory Servers and systems related.Including support for GPO, ADFS, ADSync and other directory services.
Working with members of the business to identify their needs and create technology solutions that address those needs.
Working to manage both the day-to-day operations of the directory and additional efforts and initiatives as identified by senior management
Serving as the SME for all Active Directory requests and inquiries.
Supporting projects includes implementation of PKI infrastructure, upgrades to the Directory, ADFS, and ADSync implementations, and other projects assigned by senior management.
Working with the Microsoft 365 team to integrate the on-premise directory with the M365 technologies.
Performing duties include enterprise Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, global system security, policy management and configuration and support for enterprise-wide initiatives.
Supporting future efforts for migration of Active Directory and related platforms to the Cloud
Evaluating Active Directory to identify challenges currently facing the environment and to develop plans to improve the infrastructure moving forward.
Working with external teams, as identified, to synchronize data to and from the existing directory, as business needs dictate.
Experience with integration of applications with Active Directory
5+ years of Active Directory technical experience that includes operational support, design and implementation of enterprise-wide solutions.
Understand Active Directory Security and technical experience supporting the same.
Understand Windows security concepts and the principles of least privilege design.
Possess PowerShell scripting experience and capabilities with on-premise directory technologies

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $57,750 - $75,000.
• Provides onsite end-user support.
• Installs applications.
• Manages hardware / software installations and troubleshooting.
• Mentors lower level desktop support members.
• Participates in ticket queue management.
• Provides onsite smart hand support to other technical towers as needed.
• Installs and Configures new hardware.
• Manages site level inventory.
• Manages ticket queue for local support request.
• Escalates systems outages or problems that are impacting production.
• Leads local onsite desktop support members.
• Validates that tickets are being assigned and worked in appropriate timeframes.
