Job Description

Come join our expanding team! This position is ONSITE in Chesapeake, VA.

Job description-

  • Supervises day-to-day activity of Benefit/Human Resource Administration department.

  • Should have experience with Defined Benefits, Health and Welfare plans

  • Ensures on-going performance, meets established guidelines, provides coaching and feedback and conducts annual performance reviews.

  • manages a team of approximately 20

  • Facilitates resolutions to an assortment of problems and escalations that are complex in scope.

  • Ensures all service levels are met as per clients expectations.

  • Ensures appropriate staffing levels and facilitates allocation of work.

  • Interfaces with client to identify and resolve on-going issues.

  • Associates level degree preferred, but not required.

  • Experience in motivating, coaching, developing and evaluating team’s performance

  • Ability to handle pressure and multiple-competing priorities and deadlines.

  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.

  • Demonstrated business communications skills, verbal and written, required.

  • Excellent computer skills and aptitude (Microsoft Office)

  • Self-directed, motivated and goal oriented with strong sense of urgency.

  • Skilled at managing time and priorities through organization and prioritization.

  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure and navigate tense situations, especially during busy hours.

  • Schedule Flexibility to work any shift and work day.

This candidate should have a 4 year college degree, approximately 3-5 years experience in a similar role, Leadership and client facing experience.
