The Product Manager will be a key member of the organization driving the innovation and competitiveness of Conduent’s Order to Cash products.
Establishing a product vision that meets the business challenges of the competitive Order to Cash industry
Driving product strategy to deliver a portfolio of high value solutions
Defining and formulating product features based on industry understanding, customer input, sales input and technology directions in a Business Requirements Document
Working with sales leadership and marketing to develop product positioning, sales strategies, and marketing strategies
Analyzing and understanding competitor products
Analyzing partner solutions as well as Conduent internal platforms
Creating a future roadmap based on analysis of P2P systems and P2P best practices utilizing industry leading and emerging technologies
Consulting on the conceptual design documents
Promoting improvement processes between Development, QA and Compliance to ensure the most efficient software delivery model
Identifying, evaluating, and providing recommendations for product performance improvement
Understanding the Order to Cash industry and the related business needs of finance and accounting clients
Functioning as a product SME consulting with Software Change Requests, defects, and product enhancements requests to Development
Responding to product questions and inquiries from internal and external clients
Providing architectural assistance to upper level management
Collaborating with other departments to effectively identify and resolve problems and conflicts
Works with the Order to Cash Practice leader to define and design the strategy for Order to Cash
Works under the general supervision of the Director Product Management for special tasks and/or projects.
At least 6 years’ experience working in the Finance and Accounting Order to Cash industry
Extensive working knowledge of Order to Cash processes and platforms.
Experience with all Microsoft Office products
Ability to work at various levels within the Company, from working with Development on specifications, to preparing presentations and business cases for upper management
Strong analytical thinking and end-to-end problem solving skills
Strong team player with the ability to drive results independently and take initiative
Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple activities with changing priorities
Effective oral, written and presentation skills
Experience in effective oral presentations to clients in the pursuit of Order to Cash sales pursuits
Competency to utilize Company software and a willingness to learn new systems as necessary
Ability to remain positive while focused on moving forward, regardless of obstacles
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
