Conduent Technical Analyst in Albany, New York
The Operations Support team provides e-Discovery support and maintenance for all applications and some systems within the Data Management division of Conduent Legal and Compliance Solutions. The team is also responsible for data quality investigations raised by the client and processing teams. The Support Technician will work closely with Client Services, Project Management, Productions and Processing teams. The Technician may provide client summaries of technical document issues, guidance on resolving processing errors encountered by internal teams, and direct client support for database issues.
The position requires acute attention to detail, strong technical knowledge, understanding of the EDRM/litigation lifecycle, experience in supporting e-Discovery projects, excellent communications skills, and exceptional and consistent follow through. This is a second shift position working one weekend day, Eastern Time. Participation in team on-call rotation will be required for off hours support.
Provide tier 2 support for processing and productions related issues
Work with other technical departments to resolve issues with hardware and scripts used for processing.
Work to improve efficiencies by identifying bottlenecks and working with the department manager to further automate processes.
Respond to inquiries in regard to document presentation and processing outcome.
Assist the Systems group in monitoring and troubleshooting operational environments.
Adhere to CLCS operational guidelines and processes, to ensure work is done consistently.
Manage and implement software upgrades including testing and roll out.
Evaluate new software for potential use within the operations pipeline.
Create documentation and training to transition routine tasks to Noida support team.
(preferred) Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science.
3 years of demonstrated prior experience in customer service or technical support roles.
Creative problem solver with strong analytical skills.
Experienced in eDiscovery processing platforms.
Accountability, ownership and commitment to quality and deadlines.
An independent worker who will take the initiative to ensure goals are met.
Ability to work under pressure with changing objectives and deadlines.
Extensive knowledge of Active Directory
Strong understanding of SQL
Ability to analyze advanced systems; Strong technical aptitude, with experience supporting web and PC-based software and hardware solutions.
Availability off hours for support and/or escalations is required.
Clear, ability to communicate in English both written and oral.
Prior exposure to the legal or eDiscovery industry.
Prior exposure to software development, technical support or similar backgrounds.
Prior experience in the Compliance industry.
